Many people want to be environmentally conscious but either don’t know where to start or think it is too much trouble to “go green.”
Some people believe that building green costs more and dismiss it as unaffordable. More and more studies suggest that building “green” generates significant savings over the life cycle of a building, at an equivalent initial cost.
Green buildings can reduce up to 50 percent of electricity consumption, 70 percent of waste output, cut emissions by 39 percent and cut water use by 40 percent.
